Ernie and Krystian (scrapweekend)

Afgelopen weekend was ik weer van de partij tijdens een heerlijk scrapweekend met 19 vriendinnen van Het scrapbookforum.

Last weekend i was on a delightful scrapweekend with 19 girlfriends from Het scrapbookforum.



Wat heb ik een hoop gelachen, te weinig geslapen, genoten en gescrapt!
De volgende layout heb ik gemaakt voor de traditionele scraplift-wedstrijd.

I've laught so much, had to little sleep, enjoyed myself and scrapped ambitously.
The following layout was made for the traditional scraplift-contast.

Nee ik heb niet gewonnen maar ben zo buiten mijn eigen comfort zone gaan scrappen en zo blij met het resultaat dat dat ook als winnen voelt!

No i didn't win, but as i scrapped absolutely outside my comfort zone and am very happy with the result i feel like a winner never the less!

Na het maken van een aantal projecten en mini-albums had ik ook wel weer eens zin in het maken van een ouderwetse layout!
Deze is gemaakt met foto's van de twee jarige dochter van een goede vriendin.
Heerlijk op het strand op zoek naar schelpen.

After making a couple of projects and mini-albums i had a feeling for a oldfashion layout!
This one is made with pictures from the two year old daughter of a good friend.
She loved finding and collection shells.



De journaling:
Schelpen zoeken vind je helemaal geweldig
er zijn er ook zoveel.
Je wilt ze eigenlijk allemaal wel meenemen!
De tas is dan ook niet meer te tillen
aan het eind van de dag.

box with surprise mini-albums

En ja hoor ik heb weer een project bedacht en gemaakt!
Zit helemaal in de flow en vind het heerlijk om al die inches en cm te berekenen...en ja daar gaat het ook wel eens mee mis.
Dan snijd ik net een halve inch teveel weg of plak je iets op met superlijm terwijl het daar niet hoort te zitten...RUK zo die is er weer af.
Maar uiteindelijk ben ik dan heel trots en tevreden met wat ik gemaakt heb...en dit keer was het een doosje gevuld met vier mini-albumpjes!

And there i was again with a new project made and thought-out by myself!
I'm completly in the flow of creating and love measuring all those inches and centemeters....and yes i do make mistakes all the time.
I cut a inch to much or stick something with superglue on the wrong place....TARE, so that's off again.
But in the end i'm rather proud and happy with what i make...and this time it's a box filled with four little mini-albums!

Hoe rijk kun je je voelen met inkt!

Ik heb een aantal nieuwe kastjes gekocht voor mijn scrapplek en bij het opruimen van mijn prullen heb ik alles eens goed georganiseerd.
Wat kun je je rijk voelen met zoveel mooie dingen!
zoals mijn inktlaadje, vol met inkt van ranger...heerlijk!

I bought a couple of new cabinets for my scrapplace and started organizing all my things.
How rich can you feel with so much nice stuff!
like my ink-draw, filled with my ranger inks...you got to love it!

Winter wonder mini-album

Al heel lang had ik foto's liggen van een dagje sneeuwpret met mijn beste vriendinnetje.
Met de tutorial "honeycomb accordion bound album" van laura Denison.
haar tutorials zijn geweldig makkelijk maar geven een fantastisch resultaat.

I've had these pictures of a day in the snow with my best friend still lying around.

Here tutorials are really simple but the end results are always magnificent!

Het papier wat ik gebruikt heb is van Little yellow bicycle, de winter twig lijn.

Flip open chest of drawers

Ik ben op het moment helemaal van de projectjes.
geinspireerd door mensen als Kathy Orta van "Paper phenomenon" heb ik besloten om zelf ook eens een projectje te bedenken en uit te werken.
en dit is het geworden en kastje met laadjes die allerlei extra vakken heeft.

I'm all into projects at the moment.
Inspired by people like Kathy Orta from "Paper phenomenon" i've decided to develop and make a little project of my own.
and this is what i came up with, a little chest of drawers with several flip-open compartments.

dit is het kastje gesloten (the chest closed):

dan kan de bovenkant open (the top compartment opened):

en hebben we vervolgens twee zijvakken die geopend kunnen worden (then there are to side compartments):

en dan kan je bij de twee laadjes (and finally there are the drawers):


om het geheel wat duidelijker te maken heb ik ook weer eens een filmpje gemaakt

Weekmenu

Voor in de keuken heb ik dit weekmenu bord gemaakt.
heel handig met al die kleine kaartjes zodat ik precies weet welke boodschappen in huis moeten komen en wat ik waarneer kook.

I made this weekmenu board for in the kitchen.
handy! so i can see what groseries i need to buy and i have a quick overview on what to cook.



De basis van dit bord is een IKEA fotolijst genaamd "SAXNÄS".
en de papierlijn die ik gebruikt heb is de "my mind's eye, Stella and Rose" lijn.

For the basis i used a IKEA pictureframe named "SAXNÄS".
And i used the "my minds eye, Stella and Rose" scrapbookpaper collection
